Cheryl Allen has over 20 years of teaching experience.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Harding University and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction in children’s literature from Penn State University.  She serves as science lead for Vienna Elementary and has helped develop science curriculum for Fairfax County Public Schools.  Cheryl especially loves to teach and inspire young writers.  She is a life-long learner with a passion for bringing out the best in her students.  Cheryl enjoys biking and hiking, spending time with her family, and rooting for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
