Shaun is in his first year as the music teacher at Vienna Elementary school. He was teaching general music in Fairfax for 6 years prior at Laurel Hill Elementary School following band and strings instruction in private schools or through private lessons. While he has been teaching drum lessons privately since 2009, Shaun graduated from the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) in 2011 with a degree in Instrumental Music Education. When not teaching music, Shaun’s hobbies largely revolve around making music; he’s an active musician in the DMV music scene, providing drums and vocals to 3 local bands in the area as well as playing solo shows or hosting open mics.
