Will your child reach his/her 5th birthday on or before September 30? If so, your child is eligible to start kindergarten. Please sign up for more information so that we can provide enrollment requirements and include you in future mailings. Get ready for kindergarten and a great school year!

January - April

Notify Vienna ES that your child is eligible to attend kindergarten next year.

May

Kindergarten registration day is ongoing. Consult https://www.fcps.edu/registration/kindergarten-registration for full details. 

August

Physicals and health documentation must be submitted to the school so that a child will be assigned to a class. A child is not assigned until all enrollment requirements are complete.

Late August

Letters mailed to parents with bus routes and class assignments.

Late August

Attend our Open House to meet your teacher, become familiar with the room, and drop off your school supplies. The open house is traditionally held on the Thursday before the first day of school. Check our website for updated details.
