After teaching 20 years as the general music teacher at Vienna
Elementary School, David Reynolds, Jr. made the switch in 2021 to begin a new chapter as the School-Based Technology Specialist.

Besides teaching Technology classes to the students, he also collaborates with the Admin and Staff to create meaningful experiences in the classroom with the help of technology. He also runs the news station at VES, Newswave 6, and has started a Vienna Tech Squad with students at Vienna who want to take their technology skills to the next level.

Outside of school, David is the founder and Executive Director of the Vienna Jammers Percussion Ensemble. Originally from Jackson, MS, Dave attended Virginia Tech with the goal
of bringing his passion for music and teaching to children.

Dave was nominated for 2011 Teacher of the Year Award in Fairfax County, recognized as the 2012 Teacher of the Year by the Vienna-Tysons Chamber of Commerce, and nominated twice for the Grammy Award for Music Educator of the Year.

Dave also runs a digital marketing agency, is an avid videographer and editor and is a woodworker.
